Podcast 088, with Justin Haacke

April 25, 2011

‘Christopher Nolan is a BAMF.’ So said a friend of mine when I explained the topic of this week’s episode. Justin Haacke returns for a podcast we both agreed was way better than the last one we recorded together.

Notes:

Contrary to what I said at the top of the episode, this is NOT episode 89. Part of me wanted to record another episode before this just so I wouldn’t sound like an idiot… but I ran out of time, and assumed you’d all take the idiot effect into account anyway.

Podcast 087, with a car full of people

April 18, 2011

Recorded during a surprisingly speedy exit from the Coachella Polo Grounds. Bob, Austin, Alex and Chandler join me for a mercifully short podcast about concert films and films about concerts.

If I ever agree to an early morning Sunday record again, kill me. Also, I’m slightly amused I referred to wizards as magicians throughout this entire ep.

Notes:

It’s a damn good thing I double check these files before I post them. Turns out I made a bad edit about halfway through this show and a good 5 minutes was lost. Managed to catch it while listening on a long road trip, and now hopefully everything’s there.

Postin’ early, happy Monday!

BTW- Salma Hayek IS in Once Upon A Time in Mexico… but I think Robbie was talking about Eva Mendes??
